Hive Nottingham is a small intimate space, which offers something different to the chains and high footfall venues that are dotted around the city. We wanted to develop a bar that offered a concise, detailed menu of cocktails and an ever-changing range of craft and independent beers, of which a variety are locally sourced and all delivered with a focus on sustainability.
We’ve taken a long hard look at everything involved in creating Hive and how by just changing certain elements we can hopefully do things a little differently. We started this process from the ground up. Around 80% of the fixtures and fittings within the bar have either been recycled or upcycled. From our wood clad walls and bar frontage, to the light fittings and countertops, we’ve focused on making sure that wherever possible we can utilise materials that would otherwise be going to landfill.
The venue is one of the smallest in the UK with a Capacity of 30. A modern style speak easy bar with code entry and through bookings only. With a variety of events including live acoustic music and DJ's which can be live streamed this bar offers a mixture of live with digital streaming. The venue has a lot to offer for such a small space. Connect to our TV screens or sound system or simply bring your records and play on our decks.
