The Hall is used for a very wide range of activities. These include regular meetings of local voluntary organisations and clubs such as the WI, Local History Society, the Red Squirrels Toddler Group, yoga classes, domino drives, indoor bowls, the local Commoners Association and the Parish Council. It is also the polling station for national and local elections and hosts a Recycling Centre for the village.

In addition, the Committee organises events for the local community including regular Saturday coffee mornings which provide both a social meeting place and a fund raising event. Other activities using the Hall include Cheese and Wine Tasting, the Village Pantomime, Murder Mystery plays, Talent Nights, an annual Bampton Sports Day, Duck Race and Raft Race, BBQs, Ceilidhs and plant and table top sales. The Hall is licensed for the sale and supply of alcohol.

Our facilities are also used as a base by the local secondary school for adventure weekends, for scout groups, and for young people undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. It is the base for the annual Haweswater Half-Marathon, occasional property auctions and has provided temporary accommodation for flood victims.

The Hall is also hired out for private social events such as birthdays, weddings and funerals. There is provision for car parking at the Hall with an 'honesty box' for payment.
