Bishop Bevan Hall description
Community Hall
Medium (1-150)
Church House, or Bishop Bevan Hall as it is known locally, is a complex of medieval and modern buildings owned by the Parish. Given by the first bishop of the diocese (sometime vicar of Brecon) it enables St Mary's in another aspect of its mission to support and encourage national and local endeavours. We provide accommodation for the British Red Cross, Brecon Volunteer Bureau, St John Ambulance, the Women's Institute, the Snooker Club, and an Internet Café. In addition, there is Bishop Bevan Hall itself, available for hire. This provides space for a local mother and toddler group, Brecon flower club and a venue for Friday coffee mornings on behalf of local churches and institutions. For hire charges and contact details, please see the contacts section. There are kitchen facilities and easy access for the disabled. The Hall seats about 100 people.
