Ferne Animal Sanctuary is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Blackdown Hills on the border of Devon and Somerset. We are surrounded by stunning countryside which offers you a unique and tranquil venue for a variety of meetings and events. When you book with us, all profits go directly to the Charity. You and your delegates will have access to the Sanctuary at break times to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and see the animals you’re helping.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
We offer room hire by the hour, starting at £10.00 per hour for corporate meetings, training sessions, motivational speaking, smaller family gatherings, yoga or pilates classes. Just let us know what you need and we will do our best to be as accommodating as possible.
OUR FACILITIES
We can provide use of a projector, a traditional flip chart, and free access to our on-site wi-fi to enable the smooth running of your meeting.
The room can accommodate up to 40 people in a theatre style layout, or you can opt for a layout of your preference, just let us know what you need.
The room is heated in Winter and with the doors open provides an airy space in Summer.
Ample free car parking is just at the bottom of the drive and disabled parking right outside the door to The Hub.
All profits go to the charity, and help us care for the animals and the grounds.
A variety of catering options are available from tea, coffee and biscuits, a great value finger buffet or you can pre-book meals from our on site cafe, Perdida.

The room has plenty of power sockets for your laptop meetings or training sessions, also at no extra charge you will have use of our projector and screen, a traditional flip chart, and free access to our on-site wi-fi to enable the smooth running of your meeting.
The room can accommodate up to 55 people in a theatre style layout, or you can opt for a layout of your preference, just let us know what you need.
For your comfort we have a superb wood burner to keep you warm in the winter, with the large patio doors bringing the outside in to you in the summer.
The toilets are conveniently placed just opposite the conference room next to our “Rona Harman Visitors Centre”, and the car parking which is free is just a few steps away from the conference room, with easy wheelchair access. We also have disabled parking right outside of the room, where you can park whilst you unload if required.
