Ferne Animal Sanctuary is a charity situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Blackdown Hills on the border of Devon and Somerset. We are surrounded by stunning countryside which offers you a unique “Get away from it all venue” for a variety of meetings and events. When you book with us, all profits go towards helping our animals. You and your delegates will have access to the Sanctuary at break times to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and see the animals you’re helping.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
Our competitively priced delegate package includes tea and coffee on arrival, mid-morning refreshments, a two-course lunch followed by tea and homemade cake in the afternoon. Or if that doesn’t suit our fantastic Chef is very happy to discuss all your dietary requirements.
We can also accommodate half day sessions or evening bookings, so from corporate meetings, training sessions, motivational speaking, fetes and fairs, or even keep fit sessions, just let us know what you need, we will do our best to be as accommodating as possible.
OUR FACILITIES
The room has plenty of power sockets for your laptop meetings or training sessions, also at no extra charge you will have use of our projector and screen, a traditional flip chart, and free access to our on-site wi-fi to enable the smooth running of your meeting.
The room can accommodate up to 75 people in a theatre style layout, or you can opt for a layout of your preference, just let us know what you need.
For your comfort we have a superb wood burner to keep you warm in the winter, with the large patio doors bringing the outside in to you in the summer.
The toilets are conveniently placed just opposite the conference room next to our “Rona Harman Visitors Centre”, and the car parking which is free is just a few steps away from the conference room, with easy wheelchair access. We also have disabled parking right outside of the room, where you can park whilst you unload if required.
All profits go to the charity, and help us care for the animals and the grounds.
Prices range from just £50.00 for half a day up to £100.00 for the full day.
