IVIC HALL THE HEART OF DIDCOTDidcot Civic Hall is owned by Didcot Town Council and managed by Didcot Civic Hall Management Committee as a resource for the local community, it was originally built in 1979 and was opened by SIR Ashley Ponsonby – a former Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire. In 2011 it was fully refurbished with an investment of £1.3M, creating a simple and contemporary design solution for this historic building in the heart of Didcot. Didcot Civic Hall can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including but not restricted to: meetings, small or big conferences, classes, clubs, arts and crafts, sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, engagement parties, weddings, christenings and communion receptions, slimming clubs and martial arts classes. There is a Cafe and Bar on site that can be used for any event upon request. The experienced staff are always on hand to assist with any special requirements.

The Main Hall is the largest room in the Civic Hall. The room could be used in many ways. Such as wedding and civil ceremonies, conference and AGMs, community user groups, exercise classes, live music, and theatre as well as much more. The main hall has disabled access due to being on the ground floor. The room has access to the beautiful garden set in the Civic Hall grounds. The acoustic environment is ideal for any event, especially if you are thinking of using us for live music concerts or theatre productions. We have the ability to effectively set up for any event allowing for seated and standing areas. Capacity: 350.

The Ladygrove Room is one of the largest rooms in the Civic Hall. It offers you the opportunity to have a large room filled with beautiful rays of natural light. The room is open, sunlit and is currently used for corporate training, boardroom meetings, community user groups, workshops, lectures, conferences, and exhibitions. The Ladygrove Room has disabled access being on the ground floor. Capacity: 100.

The All Saints Room is the bigger of our two upstairs rooms. The room is light and spacious and is currently used for corporate meetings of a medium size, training, art classes and much more. We do have a lift available for disabled access to this room. Capacity: 40.

The Park Room is our smallest room and is situated on the first floor of the building. It is ideal for anyone looking to book a small boardroom meeting or event with groups of less than 10 people who require privacy. The Park room is ideal for small businesses looking to develop, as it is an affordable and professional room to host boardroom meetings and presentations. We do have a lift available for disabled access to this room. Capacity: 25.

The Northbourne Room is one of the older and quirkier rooms in the Civic Hall, having been here since the building was erected; it has retained its trapezoid shape mirroring the architectural design of the Didcot Civic Hall prior to the 2011 refurbishment. The room is open, sunlit and is currently used for community user groups, workshops, lectures, conferences, and exhibitions. The Northbourne Room has disabled access being on the ground floor. Capacity: 40.
