Hexham Abbey’s Priory Buildings offer a beautiful and flexible range of spaces for hire, suitable for every occasion for individual use to 190 people. We can host your wedding reception, party, conference or training event.

Each of the rooms is fully accessible, and all of them benefit from fine natural light and original architectural features.
We can arrange furniture to suit your event, and we offer a range of equipment for performances, meetings and presentations, including projectors, microphones and WiFi.
We can provide our own high-quality in-house catering, or bring in external caterers, and can supply anything from a sandwich buffet to a full wedding menu. The kitchen is also available for hire. The Priory Buildings are a fully licensed premises.
And if you're looking for a venue with a difference for a business meeting or conference, we can offer unique ice-breakers and team building activities, alongside your room hire. These include private tours of the Abbey, out-of-hours access to our 7th century crypt, roof climbs, bell ringing, and much more!
