In 1987 the hall registered as a charity and in the early 1990's the hall recived improvements however a few years later the building needed a total refrbishment so it was decided to build a new hall. The hall was rebuilt in 2003 with £230, 000 of european grant money and uses renewable energy, it is heated by ground source heating. The hall is hoping to receive £15, 000 of grant money to install a 4Kw solar panel system to make he hall even more sustainable. The hall is maintained for the use of the community and any profits are donated to agencys who help the community.
