Orton & District Public Hall known as Great Orton Village Hall opened on the 29th of September 1954 and is located just over 5 miles west of Carlisle in Cumbria. Great Orton has around 80 houses, St Giles' Church, The Wellington Public House, Great Orton Primary School & Nursery and Mulholland's Butchers. The hall was built by donations and belongs to the community. Ideal for birthday parties, meetings, workshops, concerts, clubs and coffee mornings
