Welcome
The George III Hotel, which is set on the banks of the magnificent Mawddach Estuary on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, provides guests with the perfect viewpoint from which to enjoy drinks, lunch, dinner or an overnight stay.
The historic building, which was constructed in 1650 to serve the flourishing boat building industry, has eleven en-suite bedrooms, a 50 seat restaurant and two character bars. As a family run, boutique hotel we offer our guests a relaxed, welcoming and warm environment in which to enjoy their stay.
Using the highest quality locally sourced fresh ingredients, our food provides diners in our restaurant, the bars or out on the water’s edge with classic dishes that continue to attract diners from far and wide.
The surrounding area is a haven for visitors who wish to explore the fantastic countryside and its many walks, climbs and lakes and during the peak season guests can expect to find The George III bustling with like-minded holidaymakers.
Peace and tranquillity are never far away and whether you favour a quiet walk by the water or a seat by our roaring open fires, we look forward to welcoming you to The George III and making your stay with us one to remember.
