Ideal Location
The charming historical village of Dunning in Perthshire is a wonderful location for holidays and short breaks. Dunning has its own historical monument in St. Serfs Church with the extraordinarily rare and impressive Dupplin Cross and an ancient wood once a roman marching camp. Less than an hour from Edinburgh, Glasgow and St. Andrews and just 15 minutes from the City of Perth with its attractions, e.g. Museum, and Scone Palace and yet set in the lovely Perthshire countryside, Dunning is an ideal base for visiting, golf or activity short breaks.
Newly renovated
Glebe House, situated in the heart of the village in its own secluded garden boasts a wonderful historical story that captures the imagination of our guests and visitors from around the world. Glebe House is an historic 1860 manse for St. Serf's Church, Dunning. The manse's story may have started 150 years ago but following a complete refurbishment in 2014, Sara and David Wood have brought their wonderful Scottish country house firmly into the 21st century. This has been carefully managed with stylish interiors and furnishings working in harmony with the manse's original character.
