2016 sees our 19th year here at HIGHLAND COTTAGE – bit longer than we planned but, nevertheless, still enjoying it all –honest! We do like to look after our guests and if you feel we don’t – tell us!

We did have a sort of a plan last year – as it turned out, only a “sort of a plan” to cut back a bit on our Dinner operation but this proved harder than we thought – saying “no” to so many people was not easy! Inevitably, we ended up almost back to “normal” as it were, but just feeding fewer non-resident guests. So, we sort of managed to have a slightly easier life! We have in effect retained our traditional 2 Rosette menu which is what our guests largely seem to expect. See a bit more under “Feeding Our Guests”.
We are proud still to offer our guests a genuine “home-from-home” in our relaxing accommodation, and never take your patronage for granted. We will always strive to maintain the highest professional standards reflecting our long service in the hospitality business. We appreciate also that you are on holiday and we want, always, to leave you with the best possible impression of Mull and, of course, Scotland.
