Visit Harry Potter Country! The Morar Hotel is a friendly family owned hotel on the romantic "Road to the Isles", 3 miles from Mallaig, the Southern Gateway to the Isle of Skye.
With the introduction of the steam train, the journey takes only one and a half hours from Fort William which is just 50 minutes distance by new road or by the special steam-hauled service that runs on the West Highland line in the summer months (“the Hogwarts Express”!). There is however a year-round scheduled service from Fort William, Glasgow and London Euston (overnight) right to the hotel door. You traverse the famous Glenfinnan viaduct featured in the award-winning film “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” on the way to The Morar Hotel
