The Hallmark Hotel Aberdeen Airport (formerly part of Menzies Hotels) enjoys a stellar location for business and leisure – and there’s a lot of both in the surrounding area. An awful lot. If you’re not joining us for a conference, exhibition or meeting, either in the hotel or in the city centre six miles away, you’re probably visiting for the single malt (Glenfiddich Distillery), the Queen (well, Balmoral) or the golf (there are over 70 courses within an hour’s drive). If practice makes perfect it’s small wonder we offer a great deal for all our guests, whatever brings them to the northeast coast.

For starters we have 212 beautiful en suite bedrooms with a contemporary blend of creams and bold warm reds, along with those 21st century essentials: free WiFi, flat screen TVs and 24-hour room service. The versatile range includes great value twins and doubles, 78 family rooms and several ‘executives’, along with our rather special four-poster suite. But all, without fail, enjoy those Hallmark staples: a superbly comfortable bed with crisp linen and plump pillows – the foundations of a good night’s sleep.

There’s also our brasserie style restaurant. A hit with locals as well as guests – a good marker of quality – its elegant earth tone interiors showcase a menu of modern British and European dishes drizzled with the odd spicy favourite from further afield. But whatever takes your fancy, our location, kissing Scotland’s northeast coast, means we’re well placed for fresh locally sourced ingredients, particularly seafood including smoked salmon, cod and rope-grown mussels, alongside the likes of arancini, homemade pie and mash, and Goan prawn curry.
