Welcome
A very warm welcome awaits you at the newly refurbished Castle Inn. The Castle Inn is family run by John and Maureen Dawson who have over two decades of hands on experience within the business.
The Castle Inn is a 19th century Scottish coaching inn overlooking the village green in the shadow of Dirleton Castle, the 12th century stronghold of the De Vaux family, renowned for it's beautiful gardens featuring the world's longest herbaceous border.
The Castle Inn combines a traditional village pub, bistro and the recently refurbished Fenbar restaurant offering a unique dining experience where occasionally you will find John tinkering on his Babygrande piano. We also have a large sun-filled beer garden which you can enjoy a drink or a meal in.
The Castle Inn also offers 5 comfortable en-suite bedrooms. Pets are not permitted in the rooms.
Food
Food is served Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 2:30pm and then again from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
On Saturday food is served from 12:00pm until 8:30pm.
On Sundays food is served all day from 12:00pm until 7:00pm.
During the summer period, the garden menu may be available all day.
