We offer five-star luxury self-catering accommodation in a selection of beautiful suites and rooms in our immaculately restored mansion house.

Knockdow House is also the perfect Scottish wedding or event venue, here in rural bliss, on the stunning Cowal Peninsula, Argyll. We are just over an hour from Glasgow.

The house sits in a peaceful 600-acre Highland estate on the shore of Loch Striven, with stunning views across the peaks and valleys of the Cowal Peninsula and across to the Isle of Bute.

We have taken five years to restore this impressive Scottish Mansion House to more than its original glory, and look forward to inviting you in to share in the outstanding natural beauty while enjoying the best Highland hospitality.
