Need official confirmation that our historic hotel is special? Very special? Then go right to the top. The splendid Victorian heart of the Hallmark Hotel Stourport Manor (formerly part of Menzies Hotels) was once the home of Stanley Baldwin, the Prime Minister on three separate occasions between 1923 and 1937. It’s safe to assume that 1st Earl of Baldwin of Bewdley knew a peach of a property when he saw one.

Now extended and refurbished the lovely old red brick country house with its elegant sash windows and fireplaces, all cocooned in 23 acres of rolling Worcestershire countryside, is the heat of a fabulous hotel overlooking Stourport-on-Severn. We don’t wish to be immodest – this is the West Midlands, after all – but it’s hugely popular with business guests and leisure visitors, drawn by the likes of Ludlow, the Severn Valley Steam Railway and the area’s famous safari park.

Of course you may not wish to leave us during you stay. It’s totally understandable. The Hallmark Hotel Stourport Manor has an awful lot to offer. Along with our excellent brasserie restaurant that alchemizes seasonal ingredients into a modern British and European menu, the dazzling array of options includes our fabulous health club with its glistening indoor pool, state-of-the-art gym and aerobic studio, alongside a spa with sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room, as well as squash and tennis courts, and nine-hole pitch and putt.

But the solid foundations of the business are our 68 ensuite rooms and suites with their tasteful mix of warm earth tones punctuated by bold splashes of colour and mellow lighting. Some lie in the graceful historic house and nearly half are family rooms (for two adults and one or two children) but all, without fail, have deeply comfortable beds, crisp linen and plump pillows alongside those modern essentials: free WiFi faster than a Worcestershire opening bowler, spacious work desks and 24-hour room service.
