The Penny Black underwent a refurbishment in April 2015. Lighter, brighter, fresher and more inviting than ever!! Formerly the Post Office, the appropriately named Penny Black in recognition of its heritage, is a grand period building with a courtyard garden right in the centre of Leatherhead town. We sell an array of well tended lagers, several of Young’s famous ales and a regularly changing guest ale at any one time. For the peckish or indeed the famished, we offer great pub classics, freshly prepared specials, a gourmet burger menu, sharing platters and bar snacks every day of the week.
