Hadleigh Market Feoffment Charity has held the beautiful Town Hall & Guildhall Complex in trust for the people of this historic Suffolk market town since 1438. Situated on the opposite side of the churchyard to St Mary's Church, many local residents and visitors remain unaware that this Grade 1* listed building has a number of magnificent rooms and halls available for hire including The Grand Hall, The Dining Room, The Old Town Hall, The Guildroom, The Council Chamber and a secluded garden area.
Three of the rooms are licensed for the solemnization of marriages and we are able to offer full licensed bar facilities provided by our Resident Licensee, together with the provision of a fully equipped commercial kitchen that can be used by your caterers.
We are extremely proud of the fact that ours is the only original medieval building available for hire in the town and you are always welcome to view our facilities by appointment.
In addition we offer 'Teas & Tours' for parties of ten or more persons, affording you the opportunity to view and learn the history of one of Suffolk's most superb buildings, all rounded off with one of our delicious cream teas.
These tours must be pre-booked.
