Taunton Rugby Football Club is a club proud of its long lasting traditions.
The club was founded in 1875, and we moved to Hyde Park in November 2001, having previously played at Priory Park for 66 years.
The club promotes rugby at all levels. Our first XV, the Taunton Titans, play in National League 2 South, having achieved back-to-back promotions in 2009 and 2010. The second XV (Warriors) play in the Somerset premier league and the club also operates a very successful junior section with teams ranging from U7’s – U18’s (Colts), boys and girls.
Taunton Rugby Football Club is also the home of Hyde Park Taunton (Conference Centre Taunton), an ideal venue for conferences, weddings, private and corporate events.
Our flexibility and experience in catering for small and large events makes Hyde Park Taunton a popular choice.
We offer free car parking for up to 250 cars, free Wi-Fi, full disability access, licensed bar, and catering facilities able to provide everything from a bacon bap and coffee with your breakfast meeting, to a cold buffet for lunch, all the way to a 5 course gala dinner.
For our business clients we provide a range of packages including full and half day delegate rates to breakfast
