By now, many of you might have dropped by to take a look at ‘Mansfield Museum in 389¼ Objects’, our year-long exhibition displaying the wide reach of our collections, old and new. To complement the displays we are drawing up full programme of events to run throughout the year.

‘Collector’s Corner’ encourages local magpies to put their treasures on display alongside ours; ‘Married in Mansfield’ is an opportunity for couples to contribute photographs of their Big Day to sit alongside our beautiful wedding dress from a sixties bride; ‘Spotlight Fridays’ give guided access to our stores to individuals or groups interested in any specific aspect of any of our collections and ‘110 Years of Song’ is a weekend playing one song from every year the Museum has been open.
