We can offer you the perfect tranquil setting to explore the beautiful changing scenery of North Northumberland
Set in landscaped grounds, the hotel offers twelve individually styled bedrooms. This attractive Georgian house, once owned by the third Lord Derwentwater, has been extended to provide a variety of accommodation-some accessed from the inner courtyard on the ground floor.
Our restaurant is a favourite with our guests and non-residents alike. This could be down to the localy sourced ingredients for which the restaurant has won a gold award. For the past five years the restaurant has also been awarded the coveted AA Rosette award for its excellence in food and service, achieving two Rosettes in 2015.
