Blackwood Hall is a traditional Victorian residence built in 1858 situated in its own 14 acre parkland away from busy roads and with ample free parking.
The land includes mature woodland where there is an abundance of wildlife including visiting Canadian geese, foxes, rabbits and squirrels. The Skipwith Common nature reserve is accessible over a stile immediately outside the property. Being fully open with free access to the public, it is a great place for a few hours walk in the wilderness.
There is easy access to York, approximately 20 minutes drive to the North and Selby a few minutes to the South. Good local dining pubs can be found in the nearby villages of Skipwith, North Duffield and Thorganby. An award-winning Thai restaurant is also only minutes away in Escrick. The York McArthur Glen designer outlet is approximately 7 miles to the North.
