The Island pub, dining and terrace is a beautiful family pub tucked away just a short stroll from both Kensal rise & Kensal green stations. Set back from the bustle of chamberlain road, the island has a wonderful terrace flanking two sides of the building perfect for dining outside during the warm summer evenings. The interior is modestly decorated with a handsome bar & equally attractive staff waiting upon entry through the front doors. The bar leads down into the snug perfect for functions parties or even just huddling down with a beer and a book in the winter or even a selection of games await. Going upwards is the sixty seater restaurant/ dining area.

The restaurant is a very important part of our business with the head chef working hard to supply an intriguing & challenging seasonal monthly menu. Working with him we create some lovely crafted dishes in a relaxed and accessible atmosphere. To blow the smoke higher our Sunday dinners are regarded by many as being some of the best in business, the mutt’s nutts, the crème a la crème! The Yorkshire puddings are sure to make a statement on any plate at any occasion.

Being in the heart of a community we are always happy to cater for any family needs, with high chairs, crayons, colouring in and our own chalk board outside hopefully boredom is not top of your worries and instead enjoying your meal is.
