Welcome to the Highwayman’s Haunt, a thirteenth century inn nestling in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside with its rolling hills, farmhouses and stately homes – a view that has hardly changed over the centuries.

Now, under the new ownership of well-known westcountry publicans John Milan and Steve Bellman, this picturesque medieval inn offers good food and drink in a stylish yet traditional setting.

Enjoy a pint at the bar or relax with friends in our comfortable armchairs and or, if you prefer, get cosy in one of our little nooks. You can also dine in the bar, or in the restaurant. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
