Easy to find and with plenty of parking, the Hoops Inn is on the Atlantic Highway (A39) and an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area of Devon. The picturesque village of Clovelly, one of the loveliest coastal villages in the West Country, is just a short drive or brisk coastal walk away from The Hoops. The Hoops Inn and Country Hotel has a first-class reputation for its food using only fresh, local seasonal produce. Guests can dine in the candlelit restaurant, the relaxed bars or, on warmer days, outdoors in the covered courtyard or the attractive gardens.

The Hoops Inn has 13 individual en-suite bedrooms ranging from a suite with a four-poster bed under the thatched roof in the old building, to comfortable standard rooms in the Coach House.

There’s plenty to see and do right on The Hoops’ doorstep including golf, fishing, sailing, hiking, surfing and biking. In addition to National Trust properties, quaint coves and villages, the spectacular RHS Garden at Rosemoor is close by at Great Torrington.
