Our Wedding Reception and Party venue is a level grass site with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the Haldon Hills. With ample space for marquee, parking, camping and games area, all mains utilities including toilets are included, or alternatively we have a 60’ x 24’ barn adjacent as an alternative to a marquee. Prices start from £750 depending on your requirements and the upper limit is for 120 guests. Unfortunately amplified music in the form of a band or DJ would not be possible in a marquee setting but would be allowed in the barn within certain conditions.
If required a Temporary Event Notice would be included in the hire cost to cover sale or supply of alcohol and/or music for entertainment. A small stage can also be constructed if needed. The venue would be available for a couple of days before an event for setting up and decorating and usually would require to be cleared the day after. Hirers have a free choice of bar arrangements and catering although we can offer a Hog Roast and accompaniments and other forms of catering. The cost of a Hog Roast is from £595 for up to 80 guests.
