Overlooking the river Allen and Cathedral, The Barley Sheaf is one of Truro's
oldest pubs originally established in 1819. The building has always been an inn with rooms upstairs for guests, but its reputation grew with the locals as a music hotspot. The Barley was one of the first pubs in Truro and while the pub has had many lives over the years, we have recently refurbished and renovated the building back to its former glory and pride ourselves on being a comfortable and relaxing home-from-home in the heart of Truro city.
For locals and visitors alike, Truro has a lot to offer in the way of great food, moreish drinks, and luxury nights-away hotels. Here at the Barley, we hope to keep the inn inviting and welcoming to all by offering a membership scheme, discounts for guests and local produce spotlights for the season as well as getting involved with local charities and community events.
