Here we are; in the heart of the city…

Open all week with a fabulous bar and an imaginative menu. Chester dates back beyond Roman times, but things really got going when we opened in 1991.

Our offer? A huge range of bands, comedy, theatre, burlesque, poetry and more… we seriously want you to have fun …

So at twentysomething we’re wise enough, never dull … at 150 capacity we’re as good at intimate as we are at heritage. We know people and we take time to make new friends.

We’re proud to host weekly Open Mic and Comedy nights, we’ve got varied gigs and concerts that offer music for everyone. We’ve welcomed performers such as Bill Bailey, Jack Dee and even Duffy in her student days. And we’ll always believe that the best is yet to come.
