The obvious way to ferry their guests between the venues was on their own personal steam train!
The facilities of the Caledonian Railway are available for charter by companies and private groups. Special trains can be commissioned, hauled by diesel or steam (when available) locomotives. In the context of such charters, footplate experience can be arranged for interested individuals.
