This is an ideal room for larger functions: Meetings, Classes, Dances, Parties, Theatrical Productions, Badminton. We have installed permanent wall drapes and a suspended ceiling.
Lighting is also available which gives a changing colour wash effect to the whole room.
There is a stage with curtains at on end. We have a star cloth and lighting which can be used on the stage. A Stage Extension is available for use in Shows and Theatrical Productions.

This room is adjacent to the Memorial Hall, linked to it by double doors. The room could be used in conjunction with the Memorial Hall for large events or could be hired separately for smaller functions, meetings, etc.
Our weekly Coffee Shop is held in here every Friday morning – 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.
There is a fully-stocked, licensed bar at one end which is available for hire for party functions.
At the other end is a well equipped kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.
The room also opens into our secure outdoor garden area, which with artificial grass and outdoor seating.

The Weldon Room is ideal for committee meetings, presentations and training functions.
There is a modern kitchen with electric cooker, wall mounted water boiler, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Crockery is available for use as necessary. It could also be hired in conjunction with the adjacent Moonrakers Room for larger functions.

The Moonrakers is a multi-purpose room with a suspended ceiling installed. It is ideal for Childrens Parties, Meetings, Receptions, Exercise Classes, etc. The room has double doors opening onto the Recreation Ground and can be hired in conjunction with the adjacent Weldon Room and Kitchen.

“Inspire Culture, Learning and Libraries” are contracted by Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver library services. A partnership has been set up with the Memorial Hall Trustees to run the library service on a voluntary basis. The library is open on Wednesdays 2.30 to 7.00 pm and Fridays 9.30 am to 1.00 pm.
