Looking for a venue that has some character? In the town centre? Within easy reach of train and bus stations, and reasonaly priced car parking? The Centre is a thoughtfully restored schoolhouse where contemporary styling meets period features. It's a peaceful place, with exposed brick, soft colours, high ceilings, and large period windows so loads of natural light. It's great for wellbeing events, service provision, courses, and dance. We have three spaces to hire - two halls with wooden floors, and a little meeting room which is carpeted. Both halls can be combined to make one larger room, which is ideal for a large event or a party. There are kitchenettes in all the spaces to make hot and cold drinks (just bring supplies). We are used regularly by many different groups / organisations, and currently host two dance schools. We can accommodate up to 100 and have fast, free wifi. Parking is 5 mins walk away.
