Grosmont is an historic village with a population of approximately 300. It is situated in the Welsh Marches close to the border with England. The village enjoys an attractive rural setting, surrounded by hills, woods and fields but is only a 20-minute drive from the market towns of Monmouth and Abergavenny in Wales and Hereford and Ross-on-Wye in England and an hour from the city of Cardiff.
Historically it was an important settlement and centre for trade and Grosmont still has an impressive Norman church and castle, as well as a traditional village centre protected as a conservation area.
