The hall was built in the 1960s with money collected by the pensioners of Ammanford on a site which is leased from Carmarthenshire Council.
It will comfortably seat 150 people when used for entertainment, lectures etc but about 100 when seated around tables.The hall is currently in the process of having an up-to-date kitchen fitted.
A public address system and induction loop have been installed.
A gas boiler serves as central heating and overhead electric heaters are also installed
A reasonable size stage is also included.
