The Brightlingsea Community Centre was built in 1975 and is the main venue for many social, educational and commercial events. We have two rooms available to hire for group meetings and childrens parties of up to 40 people. These rooms have interconnecting toilets and kitchen areas. Also available to hire is the Cinque Port Hall which is licenced for 100 people and has a sink unit and drinking water facility. Our Liberty Hall has capacity for an audience of 250 people and includes a large stage with lighting and audio equipment available. The Liberty Hall also has its own bar and is popular for weddings, birthday parties and other large events. The Brightlingsea Community Centre also benefits from full disabled access and a fully equipped kitchen. 'The Oyster Bar' is licensed for Members and their guests and hosts regular musical events and is also available for the use of our hirers and their guests for the duration of their hire.
