South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS) was established through the merger of Stroud College and Filton College in February 2012. This merger has created a larger institution that offers students more choices, greater opportunities, and a wider range of facilities.

SGS boasts four main campuses: Stroud, Filton, WISE, and Berkeley Green. Additionally, we operate several local community venues and welcome approximately 15,500 full-time and part-time students annually. Our presence extends to the heart of Bristol, with centres at the West of England Academy of Art and Bristol Zoo & Gardens.

Term Time:

Monday and Tuesday: 4-6pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 4-9pm
College Holidays: Extensive availability (8am-5pm Monday to Friday), excluding Winter break.

2025 College Holidays:

Monday 14th - Friday 25th April
Monday 26th - Friday 30th May
Monday 30th June - Wednesday 20th August

Additional dates will be confirmed once the 2025/26 academic year calendar is finalized.
