The Dimblebee Family are pleased to welcome you to the Wheatsheaf Inn situated in Woodhouse Eaves in the heart of the Charnwood Forest. Generations of the Dimblebee family have been part of the local licensing scene for over 60 years and are synonymous with creating welcoming pubs with personality and atmosphere and where great food and drink can be enjoyed served by our friendly team.

Renowned for our food the Wheatsheaf offers a choice of dining options in our informal bar, newly created “Mess” room and our traditional dining room, and if the weather permits food may be taken alfresco in our relaxed outside seating and decking areas. The themed Mess room complete with genuine 1938 Hawker Hurricane propeller can accommodate private parties of up to 20 people. (Monday to Friday's only)

Our modern Bistro menu is refreshed regularly and diners also have the choice of seasonal daily specials and a wide selection of tempting home made desserts. Wherever possible we source the very best local produce and ingredients.

We offer a range of award winning ales, premium continental lagers as well as an extensive choice of fine wines - all of which are selected for their taste, diversity, quality and value.

Accommodation is available in the adjacent cottage annex where we offer two superior twin or double rooms with en suite facilities.We have recently been awarded an AA 4 Star Inn rating reflecting the high standard of our accommodation, warm welcome and comfort provided.

The Wheatsheaf is enjoyed by new visitors to the area as well as a regular local clientele and is a friendly establishment where children and well behaved dogs are welcome. ( For the comfort of our non-doggy customers, the carpeted area is a dog free zone. )
