Due to recent cuts, Leicestershire County Council has agreed to fund 16 libraries in market towns and shopping centres and offer support to communities to run the remaining 36 libraries.
Sileby Community Library Management Committee was formed from a small but enthusiastic group of volunteers who have worked hard to set up a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, so that can manage the library on behalf of the community. The library is staffed by volunteers - if you are interested in helping please get in touch! The library has now transferred to the community.
