Hello, my name is Hazel Elms and I am married with two children and we live on the outskirts of Windsor.

One day after our daughter was born and I was out shopping in Windsor I really needed somewhere I could stop to feed our baby, somewhere I felt comfortable and was welcomed with a baby and somewhere with decent baby change facilities. I also thought wouldn't it be great to have somewhere child friendly to meet up with my friends and their children.

This is when the idea for Doodle's Den was born and my wonderful husband has supported me through the journey, of creating the idea, to opening Doodle's Den's doors in August last year.

We both believe in, and are passionate about the surroundings we have created. Our family means everything to us and we love spending time together, therefore we wanted to open somewhere that families could enjoy together and make it easy to go out and eat. Somewhere you don't need to 'ssshhh' your children in fear of upsetting other customers, somewhere children have some toys to play with when they've had enough of sitting at the table, and somewhere where you can feed your children and it doesn't matter how messy they get, or have somewhere comfortable to breastfeed.

When creating Doodle's Den we wanted to offer high quality food and drinks and therefore took our time over choosing suppliers, we use local suppliers and fair trade products where possible and we hope you agree the coffee is amazing, the hot chocolate is simply delicious and the cakes....well you need to taste them for yourself.

Since we've opened we have met some great people who now work at Doodle's Den and they continue to create the welcoming, friendly atmosphere we want to provide for you. They are on hand to help you when you visit, such as tailoring our menu for your little ones (or you) if they have a liking for something particular. I work at Doodle's Den and love seeing our customers enjoying the facilities, the tea and coffee and the food we offer and our Children love visiting. You will probably see us there when you visit.
