Andy & Louise welcome you to The Chequers. Our family run pub is located in the idyllic town of Watlington, next to the Chiltern hills designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Chequers is a beautiful 16th century Oxfordshire pub close to the heart of the village of Watlington in Oxfordshire. The Chequers has a traditional bar in two sections, a conservatory and large garden.

The Chequers in Watlington is situated close to the central High Street. Where there are a number of individual specialist shops that are worth a visit. The village is a short drive away from junction 6 on the M40 Motorway and within easy reach of Henley, Wallingford and Stokenchurch. The ancient Icknield way that forms a part of the Ridgeway National Trail passes through the south east of Watlington.
