Located on top o' hill, overlooking Manchester and the Cheshire plain beyond. On a good day we can even peek a view of the Welsh Mountains and Snowdonia. Lydgate is one of many villages collectively known as Saddleworth, nestled on the edge of the Pennines. Grand walking round these parts!

The White Hart is the village pub and a little more besides... Hopefully our website will give you an insight into our cooking, wines, ales, rooms and events. As well as our dedicated team who make it all happen.
