Hause Hall farm house and its two adjoining sandstone outbuildings, the Cruik Barn and the Stables provide luxurious holiday let accommodation in the Lake District and are located mid way up Hallin Fell at the South end of Ullswater in Martindale. This farm offers spectacular views over the fells and up into the hidden valleys of this secluded area. Famous local author and fell walker, A W Wainwright described the Ullswater lakeside walk which starts just at the base of Hallin Fell as “the most beautiful and rewarding in Lakeland.”

Hause Hall farm extends over several traditional lakeland stone buildings including the Grade II listed five bedroom, five bathroom farmhouse and the adjoining two bedroom, two bathroom Cruik Barn cottage and two bedroom, two bathroom Stables which are linked across a traditional paved stone terrace. Hause Hall’s guest comforts are assured with its cast iron open fireplaces, four oven aga, high speed satellite broadband, oak kitchen and modern luxury bathrooms. Hause Hall Farm house, the Cruik Barn and the Stables can be rented together and share the reception room space in the farm house for up to eighteen guests. The Cruik Barn cottage and the Stables each have their own private terrace area. Alternatively, the farm house can be rented on a stand alone basis with accommodation for up to ten guests. Dogs are welcome at Hause Hall Farm but please be aware the local Herdwick sheep are quite free ranging!
