I wish you a very warm welcome to our website, which I hope provides you with a sense of what this wonderful preparatory school achieves, day by day and term by term.

At Beechwood Park, we believe that excellent preparatory education has a formative and often transformative effect on young people. Children stand (run, jump, dance, act, perform!) right at the centre of our thinking and our decision-making.

The Beechwood Park team of staff, parents and governors work together to develop characterful children who, we hope, will contribute influentially to the future flourishing of humanity.

From a young age and through a combination of the best traditional and modern educational methods, we teach the children to ‘learn how to learn’.

From the brand new Woodlands Nursery right through to the Top Form, our education achieves a remarkable balance between the acquisition of knowledge and skills, layering solid learning foundations on which to build for the future.

We instil a passion for learning and discovery and teach the children to be adaptable and agile in the face of change and resilient and resourceful when facing challenges.

Our wide-ranging extra-curricular programme provides the children with unrivalled opportunities to perform in sport, music, drama and the wonderful outdoor Forest Schools programme. Our exceptional facilities, including a sports hall and heated swimming pool complex, together with the surrounding park and woodland provide further spaces for children to explore and develop their talents.

All of the children at Beechwood Park are proud to be individuals. We teach them to recognise their own individual talents and gifts.
