The pub has recently undergone a major facelift and and is now open with a new look butchers counter, steak flame grill, bar and restaurant including a new dining area called the ‘Riseley Room’ which you can even reserve for a special occasion or event.

As soon as you enter the Fox and Hounds you will be embraced with a traditional English pub welcome with oak beams, a roaring open fire during the colder months, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere serving award-winning beers and wines alongside a selection of malt whiskeys to choose from.

And then of course, there's our steaks and food... The Fox and Hounds has been famous for its steaks for many years and we pride ourselves on the special experience you receive when you walk through our doors.

Our beef is sourced from UK cattle which graze on naturally lush and mineral-rich grass. Therefore, a visit to the Fox and Hounds would not be complete without a visit to our very own butchers counter, choosing your steak fresh and cut to the size you require in front of your very eyes.

Continue the steak experience and watch it being cooked on the flame grill in the restaurant, then enjoy what we believe will be the best steak you have ever tasted! Whilst we are famous for our steaks, we also offer a full main menu with plenty to choose from, from fish and chips to our house speciality ‘Fox’ burger with all the trimmings to name a few, with Kids options starting from £4.95.

Also NEW to the Fox and Hounds is our ‘Carve your own Roast’ offer for 6 or more people, where you can carve your own Sunday dinner and leave the washing up to us. Bookings must be made in advance so please enquire within for more details.
