Welcome to Old Bridge, a historical 16th Century Elizabethan manor house, located in rural south Somerset. Surrounded by two acres of enchanting wooded grounds and gardens, it is the perfect backdrop for your special occasion. Old Bridge dates from 1580 and is built with the local, honey coloured Ham Stone. It has a wonderfully warm and unique character. As a listed building, we are honour-bound to retain its unique character for future generations, but in the meantime, it is a pleasure for us to share it with those of you who would like to enjoy the property as a majestic backdrop to your memorable event.

Description

The Great Hall of the house is available for Civil Ceremonies at any time of the year. Surrounded by portraits, shields, luxury drapes and mullion windows looking out onto the front lawn, and with a massive inglenook fire place, this is a magnificent and dignified historic room in which to tie the knot. There is room to seat up to 70, or if the weather is kind, the guests can be outside and the ceremony can be held in the pretty Ham stone front porch. From May to September, it is just yards to the spacious marquee for your reception.
