Sopley Lake is situated behind Sopley Farm PYO, on Derritt Lane which runs from Sopley to Bransgore. The lake is a former gravel pit of around 10 acres in size, of which aggregate was extracted from in the 1980’s then naturally filled with water once the workings were complete. This quiet area surrounded by woodland is available these days for fishing, camping, water sports and as a wedding/events venue.
