The Crown Inn is a beautiful 17th century building which has been extended over the centuries to become what it is today, a cosy, friendly pub. In the winter the wood burner will keep you warm whilst you enjoy our freshly home-cooked food. In the summer enjoy al fresco dining on the patio or in the garden.

We are the centre of the small hamlet of Finglesham between Sandwich and Deal. The Medieval town of Sandwich with its narrow streets and overhanging buildings is well worth a visit. Take a boat trip along the river you may see the seals. Deal is a seaside town with a lovely clean beach, or take a stroll down the narrow side roads in the Conservation area which is where the smugglers used to trade.

Being a privately owned pub you will receive the individual touch, every customer is important and our friendly staff will make you feel at home whether it is your first time with us or your 100th time. The Crown welcomes families and the children will be happy all afternoon playing on our large play area, whilst you sit back and enjoy one of our 4 real ales, a glass of Biddenden Cider, a glass of wine, or anything else that may take your fancy, as we have a very large selection of drinks.
