Welcome to Cartmel Racecourse
Against the backdrop of the beautiful English Lake District, Cartmel Races rekindles the spirit of the original steeplechases.
The 2016 fixture list has been published and the new season commences with an additional day on Saturday 28th May - when we shall be staging a very different type of race-day with Simply Red playing after the final race - followed by the same eight days that we enjoyed in 2015.
When we're not racing, the Louis Roederer Restaurant, located in the grandstand, makes an excellent venue for private functions, meetings and events.
