Symondsbury Manor is a historic manor house standing in two and a half acres of garden in the heart of a picturesque village of thatched cottages. The house offers comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 22 (plus 2) people and is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday or to gather with friends and family to celebrate a special occasion such as a landmark birthday or family reunion.
Staying at Symondsbury is a delightful and unique experience. The life size zebra in the garden gives you a hint on your arrival of the relaxed, playful style hidden inside this traditional Tudor manor. The house contains a large number of paintings collected over many years by the owner, Peter, who is himself a painter. He has mixed colourful, contemporary furnishings with traditional pieces to create an environment which guests find provides the space, history and grandeur of country house living without the formality.
