With elegant buildings dating back to the nineteenth century, a frontage of mature trees and a rich heritage, the School makes for a beautiful backdrop. Nestled on the Bootham road just outside York’s quaint city centre, we are easily accessible by road or rail.

Every wedding package is tailored to your needs. The Memorial Hall makes for a striking location for a formal reception. For those who would prefer something less formal, the School’s dining room provides the perfect setting.

Extensive grounds and gentle green lawns provide an excellent location for a marquee, champagne reception, informal barbecue or hog roast.

The grounds may also be hired separately.

The School is less than 400 metres from the York Registry Office can be a very special setting for your wedding photographs.
We offer extensive car parking plus helicopter access, all within a few minutes’ walk of York city centre, the Minster, local churches and the railway station.
