Our dedication to providing top class food and drink in a warm, welcoming atmosphere provides a firm foundation on which our team can create the perfect party for you.
There’s ample space in our landscaped garden for a marquee, which we can arrange for you with a trusted local supplier, or, if you prefer, we can bring the party inside, making the most of our traditional pub and spacious contemporary extension. We can even cater for smaller , more intimate groups in a secluded area of our restaurant or, if you prefer we can offer an exclusive room for private dining.
Organising the perfect party can be exhausting, which is why we aim to do all the hard work for you. Our bespoke service means you get exactly what you want and can sit back, relax and enjoy your celebration secure in the knowledge that your guests are guaranteed a good time.
We happily create individual menus just for you, offering a tailor-made package and high levels of personal service to ensure your celebration is everything you want it to be.

Award yourself to be in some of the best recognised company possible, we got our first taste of official industry recognition in 2005 when we were nominated in the dining pub category of the prestigious Yorkshire Life Food & Drink Awards. The following year we scooped the Innovation of the Year title in The Publican magazine – known widely as the industry bible – for creating a small on-site deli. Since then, we’ve won a great many accolades, including Yorkshire Pub of the Year at the White Rose Awards, Best Freehouse in the Great British Pub Awards and, perhaps most notably of all, Licensee of the Year 2013 by the BII (British Institute of Innkeepers).
We’ve achieved a lot but we’re not ready to put our feet up just yet. We keep challenging ourselves and pushing for ways to improve all the time. We’re always trying new things to attract new people and also to give our existing much-valued customers another reason to come back again and again.
